To maintain consistency, fairness, and alignment with payroll and scheduling processes, the following rules apply to all Paid Time Off (PTO) requests:
1. PTO Usage Limits
PTO may not exceed 40 hours within a standard workweek.
Requests for more than 40 hours of PTO in a single pay period require prior approval from the Director or HR.
Rymco does not "cash out" unused PTO under any circumstance.
2. PTO Scheduling Process
PTO must be submitted and approved in Shiftlab before the schedule is moved into approved status for the month.
All requests must be entered using the PTO tile in Shiftlab.
PTO cannot be scheduled during holiday blackout periods, which are announced annually each October.
Late or retroactive PTO requests will not be accepted once the schedule is finalized.
3. Payment Process
Once PTO is approved in Shiftlab, the employee must submit a payment request in Paycor.
Paycor PTO requests will only be approved if the time off was previously submitted and approved in Shiftlab prior to Paycor submission.
4. Time Off Parameters
A standard full-time schedule includes five workdays and two regular days off per week.
PTO may only be used for scheduled workdays.
If an employee works all five scheduled days in a week, they cannot submit PTO for their normal days off.
